WATER OUTAGE!

The Town of Vivian Water System has experienced a water main break resulting in a water outage!  Crews are working diligently to make necessary repairs to restore service as quickly as possible.

Due to the recent cases of EHV-1/EHM, the Vivian Arena will be closed until further notice!

Though we do not have any confirmed cases locally in our area, we want to be proactive and avoid the spread of the virus.  If you suspect your horse has been exposed, or has symptoms, please contact your vet immediately; do not wait!

  2. THE VIVIAN PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION WILL APPOINT A CHAIRMAN TO THE VIVIAN PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
  3. 3. PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE ACTION OF RESOLUTION # 6 OF 2025 FROM THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE TOWN OF VIVIAN – BEING A RESOLUTION TO REQUEST THE ZONING COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF VIVIAN CONDUCT A COMPREHENSIVE STUDY TO ASSESS THE FEASIBILITY AND IMPLICATIONS OF AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO ALLOW SINGLE OR MULTI-FAMILY DWELLINGS AS A USE BY RIGHT WITHIN THE B-2 NEIGHBORHOOD DISTRICT. And further include A. “church including educational buildings” as a use by right within the B-2 Neighborhood Business District and the B-3 Central Community Business District; and B. Authorize single-family and multi-family dwellings as a use by right within both the B-2 Neighborhood Business District and the B-3 Central Community Business District
