- THE VIVIAN PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION WILL APPOINT A CHAIRMAN TO THE VIVIAN PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
- 3. PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE ACTION OF RESOLUTION # 6 OF 2025 FROM THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE TOWN OF VIVIAN – BEING A RESOLUTION TO REQUEST THE ZONING COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF VIVIAN CONDUCT A COMPREHENSIVE STUDY TO ASSESS THE FEASIBILITY AND IMPLICATIONS OF AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO ALLOW SINGLE OR MULTI-FAMILY DWELLINGS AS A USE BY RIGHT WITHIN THE B-2 NEIGHBORHOOD DISTRICT. And further include A. “church including educational buildings” as a use by right within the B-2 Neighborhood Business District and the B-3 Central Community Business District; and B. Authorize single-family and multi-family dwellings as a use by right within both the B-2 Neighborhood Business District and the B-3 Central Community Business District
